Katsudon
It tastes so good and so satisfying! After finishing it, your body is so energized!
INGREDIENTS

Sushi rice | 250g |
Panko Japanese breadcrumbs | 1 bowl |
Soy sauce | 4 Tbsp |
Mirin | 2 Tbsp |
Wheat flour | 1 bowl |
Eggs | 4 pieces |
Onions | 200g |
Chicken breast | 350g |
Chicken stock | 200ml |
INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare chicken
Lightly coat chicken breast in wheat flour, dip into 2 beaten eggs.

Dredge with panko
Coat thoroughly chicken with panko breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl.

Deep fry chicken
Deep-fry the coated chicken until cooked through, golden brown and crispy. Place onto a tray covered with kitchen paper to drain off excess oil.

Stir fry onions
In a pan heat 2 Tbsp vegetable oil. Stir fry 2 onions sliced.

Prepare the sauce
Add 200ml chicken stock. Stir in 4 Tsbp soy sauce, 2 Tbsp mirin and 2 Tbsp sugar.

Add the chicken
Add the deep fried chicken back in the pan.

Add 2 eggs
Add 2 beaten eggs. Simmer until cooked through.

Serve your dish
Serve over steamed white rice. Garnish with spring onions.
